The CCSC hydraulic actuated adjustable choke valve brings remote, repeatable flow control to wellhead and choke manifold installations where manual adjustment is impractical or unsafe. The valve combines the proven needle type adjustable choke with a hydraulic actuator that positions the stem precisely according to a control signal, allowing the choke opening to be changed from a remote panel, a process controller or an emergency shutdown system. The assembly is manufactured to API 6A and API 16C practice and is available with fail-safe open or fail-safe close actuator configurations to match the safety philosophy of the installation.
Because the actuator is driven by hydraulic power rather than manual effort, the choke can be adjusted while the manifold is under full working pressure without exposing personnel to the high pressure area. An integral position feedback transmitter reports the actual stem position to the control room, so the operator always knows the true choke opening rather than relying on an inferred value. This combination of remote operation and position feedback makes the valve an essential component of modern automated well testing and production optimisation systems.

The hydraulic actuated adjustable choke valve is specified for unmanned platform wellheads, remote onshore locations, automated choke manifolds and process facilities where flow must be regulated from a central control room. It is used in production optimisation schemes that adjust the choke continuously to maintain a target wellhead pressure, in multiphase flow metering skids that need rapid response to changing flow conditions, and in injection systems protecting reservoirs from pressure spikes. The valve is equally valuable in well testing campaigns where a programme of choke changes is executed automatically while engineers monitor the separator train remotely.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceEach hydraulic actuated choke valve receives full pressure testing of the valve body and trim together with functional testing of the actuator, including stroke verification, fail-safe response time and position feedback calibration. Test certificates are issued against the serial number and retained with the material documentation for the complete unit. Before export the valve is drained of test fluid, the actuator ports are plugged, and the assembly is protected against moisture and mechanical damage in a purpose built plywood crate.
