The CCSC flanged adjustable needle choke valve is an API 6A flow control device engineered for precise regulation of well effluent in choke manifold, well testing and production service. The valve uses a forged alloy steel body with flanged end connections and a stainless steel needle stem that moves into a replaceable seat to control the flow area with excellent resolution. Every unit is manufactured in accordance with API 6A and API 16C design practice, with the complete flow trim built around tungsten carbide components that resist the cutting action of produced sand and high velocity fluid.
The needle type construction gives the operator a simple, predictable relationship between handwheel position and flow rate, and a machined indicator scale on the bonnet shows the exact opening at all times. This makes the flanged choke valve particularly popular for well testing operations where the flow rate must be stepped through a series of known positions while the separator and metering equipment are monitored. The valve body is designed for flanged installation on choke manifolds, allowing fast removal of the complete trim assembly for inspection without disturbing the manifold piping.

The flanged adjustable needle choke valve is applied on drilling choke manifolds, well testing choke manifolds, production wing manifolds and injection flowlines where exact rate control is required. Typical duties include reservoir testing programs that need a sequence of stabilised flow rates, gas lift distribution where each well requires an individual adjustment point, and water injection systems that must protect the formation from pressure surges. The flanged connection makes the valve easy to integrate into skid mounted test packages, and the compact forged body keeps the overall manifold footprint small even in high pressure ratings.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceCCSC performs a complete test sequence on every flanged choke valve, including shell hydrostatic testing, seat leakage testing and back pressure verification in accordance with API 6A requirements. Material certificates, heat treatment records and dimensional inspection reports are compiled for traceability, and the tungsten carbide trim is inspected for surface quality before assembly. Valves are then cleaned, protected with corrosion inhibitor, fitted with flange protectors and shipped in a robust plywood export case. Third party inspection and special documentation packages can be arranged to meet the requirements of major oil companies.
